Are you having a program at your wedding?

Every wedding I have been to has had programs, and we were going to do them as well. But I can certainly understand your point of them not being necessary, and even being wasteful and therefore harmful to the environment. The programs we are doing are only one page rather than the thick ones I've seen at some weddings. The reason we opted to have programs is because our extended families and friends have not met yet as they live on opposite ends of the country, so we wanted to include some additional information about the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
