I need to send one Big Plasma TV from US to India, for my home and not for business, i dont want to pay tax?

Since the plasma TV in US is cheap compared to India i wanted to know how i can send them or how i can take them with me to India and the prime concern is i am not interested to pay any tax on them, coz that will turn out to be an hefty deal
