How do you convert flv. files to mov. avi. or mpeg. without downloading anything.?

well i need to convert flv video files to any other video files that are suitable in windows movie maker without having to download anything. my computer has too much files in it and i dont want to add another one. my computer can download youtube videos but its in flv which is not suitable for wmm, so how can i convert that?
