My computer has a virus! help?

my computer has a trojan horse agent.xj and i believe it has a rooting system that re-loads it when it is removed. i need to know how to remove this virus or what to do with it because my computer is slowly becoming useless, and i payed a hefty price for it, and i don't know what to do. help please?
