Im new at this whole..illuminati thing...a little help?

I was told about this illuminati thing the other night and at first i didnt beleive it first, but after i did a little research, my eyes were glued to the computer screen for 3 hours straight looking this stuff up. i have a really hard time believing that artist like Jay-Z and Taylor Swift actually worship the devil.. i know that Jay-Z shows veryy blunt signs that hes a freemason but even if all this was true, how come this isnt nationally known? how are these people getting away with all these..subliminal messages and how are they allowed to brainwash us like this????
