I need to find a religion,?

I'm currently not christened and I don't agree with Christian beliefs and do not believe in Jesus. I do believe however there is a God and that there is a heaven somewhere. I feel I need to find a religion to help me out in life and keep me on the right tracks in life. I feel that if I can find spiritual guidance then I would be a more complete person. I have no idea what religion would suit me but really feel that I'm at a stage in my life where religion would help me through.
