Science fair! Ideas needed!?

My cl is having a science fair and the topic is: Where we live. I have no idea what to experiment or study! I live in Switzerland, close to lake geneva. if anyone has any good ideas on what to do, please contact me. Science fair due 2 months!! HELP!
