Why doesn't my boyfriend talk a lot?

I know how you feel some people are so direly boring to be around, and I don't like having to make all the effort in conversation, it should be a two way process. All I can say is if hes not your type realistically you should move onto find someone else unless he shows signs of progress - or you will become depressed over time.
